Responsibilities of IT Staff Members
IT Staff Members should be familiar with technology and have a background involving computers. IT Staff Members typically work from the computer lab and are expected to help monitor the use of technology resources, such as keeping track of paper, making copies for tutors and student-athletes, and ensuring student-athletes are using computers for academic purposes only. IT Staff Members may also be called upon to assist counselors with computing problems. Each IT Staff Member is assigned an individual responsibility as well, such as printers, network configurations, computer configurations, etc. IT Staff Members are expected to act in a professional manner while complying with NCAA regulations.
