Responsibilities of Academic Tutors
Academic Tutors help student-athletes understand the class material for a class that the student-athlete might be struggling in. Tutors usually meet with student-athletes for a one-hour session at least once a week. In the last five to ten minutes of a session, the tutor must fill out a report evaulating the session and the student-athlete's progress in the class. Tutors are expected to act in a professional manner while complying with NCAA regulations.
