The Shaquille O'Neal Student-Athlete Development Program was created in an effort to support and charged to enhance the total student-athlete development within the LSU campus and community. The total student-athlete development components are comprised of personal enhancement, career development, leadership, social engagement and prepared professionalism. Along with these components, the program is dedicated to establishing a structured and influential Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C).

Vision:
To develop productive, responsible and altruistic ambassadors of LSU.
Mission:
To provide a holistic approach that fosters civic responsibility, lifelong learning, critical thinking, and encourage independence into adulthood.

1. To support the personal growth of student-athletes
